This project involved the installation of three separate solar systems on a single commercial property located in Illinois. The property consisted of three distinct buildings, each with its own electrical meter. To maximize efficiency and meet the specific needs of each building, three individual solar arrays were designed and installed. Each building had its own meter, necessitating three separate power outage with the electric utility to ensure accurate energy tracking and billing for the individual accounts.
- System Size and Type: 547 kW Roof Top Solar PV System
- Annual Electricity Generation: The solar system is projected to generate 637,305 kWh of electricity every year.
- Annual Environmental Impact: The implementation of the solar system is expected to significantly reduce the company’s carbon footprint, offsetting it by about 452 tons annually. This reduction is equivalent to the carbon dioxide emissions from 50,821 gallons of gasoline.
