The Psychology Building is located on the university campus in Urbana-Champaign. The Psychology Building is an eight-story brick and masonry structure with a full basement (Ground Floor) and an enclosed atrium from the first floor to the eighth floor. The building houses classrooms, offices, computer rooms, and animal research laboratories. The total constructed area was 296,800 square feet.

GEC scope of work included A/E services for a) Program Validation; b) Schematic Design; c) Design Development; d) Construction documents; e) Bidding; f) construction phase services, start-up and closeout.

The scope included upgrade of fire alarm system, provision of sprinkler system for the entire building, lighting and ceiling replacement as needed.

The work was completed on time within budget.
